Gareth Morgan, Ph.D.

Gareth studied Biochemistry at Imperial College, London, then completed a PhD in structural biology at the University of Sheffield. He spent three years as a postdoctoral research fellow at the University of Leeds, working with Professor Sheena Radford. In collaboration with the Bardwell lab, he helped to develop a genetic system for measuring and evolving stability in vivo, and has come to Michigan to continue working on this project. Gareth is an enthusiastic mountaineer and rock climber, and also enjoys running, films and theatre. He is endeavouring to sample the biotechnological output of all of Michigan's microbreweries during his time in Ann Arbor. Gareth has a website at http://www.garethmorgan.net
