Dana studied Biology at the Tel-Aviv University, Israel. After it, she did  Master  thesis in Bioinformatics  at the Weizmann Institute of Science, Israel. During her PhD studies Dana studied biophysical rules governing protein-protein at the lab of Prof. Gideon Schreiber in the Biological Chemistry department of  The Weizmann Institute of Science, . In addition, she had a chance to work  on issues that relate to protein-surface interactions in collabiration with lab of Prof. Israel Rubinstein.  

 

Recently, Dana joined the Jakob lab to start a postdoctoral position. Dana is focusing on understanding structural changes leading to  the Hsp33 activation and characterization of the substrate binding interface. Besides the lab dana enjoys hiking, rollerblading, movies and having fun.
