DEG15, the processing protease - Nicole Buller
Building upon work by former graduate student Antionette Williams, Nicole was working on DEG15 mediated processing of PTS2 containing peroxisomal proteins. Her research was focused on identifying the critical residues required for substrate processing by the DEG15 protease.SAPP1 - Nicola Harrison-Lowe

A project started by Nicola which focused on characterizing multiple peroxisomal proteases identified in our proteomic collaboration. Having confirmed their peroxisomal localization using our tobacco system, she proceeded with biochemical characterization using purified recombinant proteins.LACS6
